Officially dubbed the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 R Coupe, the vehicle will get the C-Class platform and convert it into a more formidable mover than the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe. Given that the C-Class racer is designed to be a little more walking than the AMG GT R, the engine will likely be wound lower from the GT R’s 577hp to the 550hp label, similar to that of the Mercedes-AMG GT C that was revealed at the 2016 Paris Auto Show.
